Serie Moulin Rouge is inspired by the imaginary world of the Moulin Rouge in Paris. Marleen Inia has lived in Paris for a couple of years, wandered around the streets of the area of the Moulin Rouge, chatted to artists, cafe holders and visitors of the area. Intrigued by the stories and history of the Moulin Rouge, this serie came out of her hands – sown costumes with lots of little details of the history – experiences – stories integrated.
